We were able to evaluate a model in COMSOL today. The model which was brought to us by our graduate student would be able to separate particles between 2 microns. Now I must learn to import our own models and replicate the process.
For lunch, we went to a lesson on etiquette. I found the instructor to be quite jovial, and the food enjoyable. When I was younger, I quite fancied myself to become a butler one day. Butlers are amazing; they can do almost any task assigned to them, and they look fabulous while doing so. A side effect of this idolization is that I spent a lot of time learning proper etiquette and mannerisms when I was younger. There are differences between the etiquette of a butler and a guest however. Most of my learnings were in these differences. Butlers are not expected to prepare conversation topics; that was a new one for me. So it was not without some use, and of course the practice was appreciated.
Tomorrow there will be a jive performance in the park that I’m really hopeful for. I do not personally dance jive, but I do dance in similar styles. If I am to find any swing dancers on campus, it will probably be there.
We hope you’ll tune in next time,
