Interface: This is the online interface for my lab training. I wanted to view all the courses I had completed.
Problems: The course search catalog bar extends far beyond where it should to the point where the white block covers another potentially usable part of the screen. Additionally, the part that is being covered up I guessed would be a drop down menu to filter display of the training modules I’ve completed. (Show last 5, show last 10, show all, etc) Instead, it only toggles visibility of the last 5 completed trainings. So then how do I view all of my completed modules? After some searching, it’s My Menu->Reports->Transcript of Completed Training->*click on small eye icon*. This was imperceivable and unpredictable.
Interface: This is the Windows 8 interface. My goal was to shut off the computer without using the power button.
Problem: I could not find the power button anywhere where I expected t to be. After searching google I learned that the power button was located in settings. Which is strange in of itself. Furthermore, the only way to bring up the menu where the setting were located (in desktop mode, as I was not using tablet mode on my desktop), you had to move your mouse to an invisible box in the bottom right corner of the screen, and then wave the mouse up and down a bit. For a simple task like shutting off a computer on Windows 8, I had to move my mouse to a special part of the screen I did not know existed, and then go into an interface that I believed was unrelated. Again this was terribly imperceivable and unpredictable.
