As the title would recommend, our literature review approaches. For our group, this seems a worrisome task. Not people the work itself is daunting, but rather that my project does not feel like research that can be lit reviewed. Our goal, is to make 3D parts with small channels. Our background reading could be summarized as looking up the specs of our printers. That is what we thought, until we met with Dr. Gomes. We asked her about the larger picture, and she responded something along the lines with using microfluidics to separate bacteria. I hope we wont experience too much trouble. I doubt we’ve completed the learning curve required to fully understand what our project even is.
After work however I had a rather pleasant encounter. Three people, possibly freshmen who didn’t know me or who I was with at the time, said hi. The others guessed they mistook us for some other people, but I am choosing to believe they are just kind. After that however we went and did yoga. The experience was, like all of my other experiences with yoga, alright. It’s something I’d do with people if they asked, but would never on my own.
Looking ahead, my graduate student has emailed me a green light to go and print a part I made. Also, he send me some changes he wants to a different part I sent him. Also, our deeper dive will start our large project soon so I have that to look forward to as well.
We hope you’ll tune in next time,
