Blending via the GPU

This page is under development.

Intent: newer nVidia cards and drivers support the ability to control blending on the GPU.  Our current C6 blending involves hard-edges physically blocking the light path,  and some fishing line strategically located to provide a counter-interference pattern (image to be inserted).

Notes to date: While the blending should work for images, true black may still be impacted since the amount of light in the blend zone will still be doubled. I suspect the performance of nVidia blending will vary depending on projectors.
