– Which is more distracting to drivers: making\/receiving calls or texting?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hypothesis: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Texting while driving will be more distracting to making call because texting typically requires more visual and manual attention compared to calls, which can be conducted hands-free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Study Design: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Participants:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– 18-65 old drivers<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Equipment: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Driving simulator with realistic road scenarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Eye tracker<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Procedure<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Participants complete a baseline driving task without any distractions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
