How is being an intern?
Being an intern is super great, you get to learn a bunch of cool stuff while getting paid. Especially at the start of the program there seems to be a lot of flexibility on what you are working on at any given time. However, now that we are getting a little bit into the program, the hard parts are starting to show. That’s actually a good thing because it means that we are actually making things, but it’s a little stressful because I want the quality of our research project to be good, but there is so much material to go through and no definitive answers. But that is the point of research after all, so I’m glad that I’m getting the experience in a safe place.
But right now I’m postponing reading papers to show you these scenes in blender.

But did you make the blender doughnut
Yes! But I can’t attach a photo here 🙁
It’s great that you are enjoying this process of being an intern! Always remember that we (the instructors, professors, mentors, and people in VRAC) are always happy to help you when you feel stuck or overwhelmed. We have all been in your shoes and would like to extend that helping hand whenever it is needed!
^^What David said..
The house and environment look so pretty and chill. I need to get mine done
Now, learn to take that model in the animation and put it into Unity with a solid modeling library to get accurate collisions.
But that sounds hard… 🙁
Now I’m gonna spend all my free time tomorrow working on this 😢
