For today’s blog post, I will talk about yesterday, 6/12. With our research, our goals became more clear as we became more knowledgable with the concept of self driving cars, more specifically, the remote operators that can assist if there are any errors with the self driving cars. Our goal has changed into designing an adaptive system for the remote operator, for example, if an operator is monitoring 5 vehicles, but there is an emergency situation with 1 vehicle, we want to figure out how can we design the display so that the remote operator’s situational awareness is optimized.

Apart from research, we took a couple photos with lights. This was really interesting to see how the cameras record the lights, so that we can make any shape and the camera will record the final shape and make it into a photo. I would be interested to see how this camera was designed.
