Huge thank you to Holly Oberbroeckling for coming and talking with us today. She took part in the SPIRE EIT intern group in 2014! We got to learn about her experience in the program and her group’s project which was all about providing pilots with easier-to-read flight diagnostics. One aspect I found interesting was hearing about how all the REU students have faced similar struggles. Sometimes it feels like our REU group is the only people who truly understand the challenges we face, but knowing about past groups that have undergone the same process is reassuring. Projects are starting to ramp up and get stressful, but at the same time, I’m enjoying spending my time on them.
