Lunch with Holly was really nice to have ensuring that the process we are going through is tough but highly worth it. Hearing the experience she had here a decade ago, similar to ours, really motivated me to keep pushing strong and to enjoy every moment of it. Then hearing about how the skills and experience she got from both the REU and grad school translating over to industry was super helpful. It gave us a better scope of how different people find different paths after grad school but keep the same mindset and skills.

This luncheon with Holly has really motivated me to not only push strong in this REU as well as pursue grad school as an option after graduation.
