Last Few Weeks
Time is running quick. We are in the final stages of our project with only two and a half weeks left and we have lots to do. Our group specifically, Echo XR, is working on audio recordings for our iterative testing, writing our paper, constructing our video, and forming our poster. Definitely a lot to do. I am sort of sad yet relieved that we are coming to an end. On the positive side, I get to see my family and friends again and get back to my usual routines of school and gym. On the contrary, I am leaving behind all these amazing people who will soon one day just be a memory, but that’s ok.. it’s all part of life’s experiences and I am really happy that I got to experience Iowa and all the amazing people in it. Definitely something I will cherish.
Also, side note today we had the Luncheon Lecture with Stephen Gilbert which I really enjoyed. His presentation was really interesting, and I got to discover things about him that I did not know before. He has worked on a lot of cool projects, and it was interesting to hear all about them. I also think it is so awesome that he got to experience Namibia in Southern Africa and the different lifestyle over there. Overall, great musician and an excellent speaker.
Til next time Blog,
