We just got done listening to our luncheon lecture speaker Miko Wilford. I love coming out of luncheon lectures because I always feel like I learned SO much and this was no exception. I dont know much about the legal system and some of the things she talked about that the government does to get people to plead guilty is crazy. It was devastating and fascinating really, and the way she spoke with so much passion about it kept me engaged the whole time. Thank you Miko!!

Also, yesterday Emily made us the most INCREDIBLE macarons and put them in these cute little containers for us. I have no idea how macarons are made but I know they’re hard so I’m so grateful to her for that. It was a fun treat to get back from the long weekend to.
