This week is focused on C++, which was a bit daunting because most of the other interns are CS majors, and I am not. I have a focus in mechanical engineering, and my small experience with code taught me to, put politely, strongly dislike it. But, now a few lessons in, I see its not so bad when you understand it (like most things). The lessons have actually been engaging and I feel like I’m learning a lot. My mentors and peers have been very kind and helpful in teaching me the basics.
