It’s almost the end of week 2, I can’t believe I haven’t been here for even 1 and a half weeks, but I already feel so welcomed and excited for the rest of the program. On Tuesday we all played board games where I got voted out of werewolf first round despite being the most innocent of them all, but despite this it was still a really fun time. Wednesday was a bit more packed, we did some more C++ which I’d say I already have a great grasp on and we also walked over to Pizza Pit to try which was actually really good! Thursday was the most fun day of all, we listened to Eliot’s luncheon talk which I found absolutely fascinating, hearing his story about his career and the wild jumps it took really put into perspective how unclear my life path is , which is both cool and terrifying. Later in the day we got our bikes which I have been looking forward since the first day and mine is amazing! Travelling anywhere is so much easier now and I feel cooler riding in style. At night we watched Dead Poets Society which has been on my watch list for a good while, and it was so good and sad that by the end I was crying and felt motivated to read poetry and do something greater with my life (despite the fact that I know I probably won’t lol). Otherwise this week has been nothing but amazing and I can’t wait till this weekend where we go to the farmers market and play more volleyball!
