I\u2019m now attempting to build something like a roman bust using blender and then solid works for the base. I will update later with the solidworks image. And even later when it\u2019s 3D Printed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The weekend was great! We had a BBQ, and Dennis helped me fix up a new bike that fits me better! P.S. Thanks Dennis!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For our research project we are working on learning how to use Carla so we don\u2019t have to build our Remote Operator simulator from scratch. We will be editing the preexisting software in Python. On one hand, I feel almost behind because my teammates (Johann and Nathan) already know how to code in Python and the only CS I know is the 1 week of C++ they taught us at the beginning. But then I remember that we all have different strengths, and that I can help in other aspects of the project. Also, because we are all going to have to learn how to use Carla, maybe that will \u201clevel the playing field\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This REU is really cool, because it\u2019s teaching us about the interdisciplinary aspects of research. We are all learning how we can all tackle separate parts to make the whole project work better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jumpscare!
