We concluded our deeper dive sessions with a presentation on our different MCAs last Wednesday. I felt anxious before, but relieved after the presentation. I especially noted the feedback that I had on mine, and I appreciated all the projects; it was amazing what we were able to produce in such a limited amount of time. We had a long weekend! Our July 3rd was kind of busy- food truck, volleyball, then we played Jackbox for a bit. We also saw Eliot there; even after Jake said where Eliot was, I couldn\u2019t recognize him with his glasses lol. July 4th was kind of cozy for me; I just watched a show and did some grocery shopping with Jacky and Madeleine. We took the bus to some point, then walked for about 21min to Aldi, then Walmart. The rain wet us a little, but it was nothing serious. I also watched the fireworks through my bedroom window at night. Almost forgot, we finally went to the Furman waterpark on Friday and found Alex there. I did the waterslides and the bucket, I had a great time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Saturday, we watched a horror movie, I wasn\u2019t impressed though, typical movie where the good guys win. I need some interesting plots! Then Madeleine and I joined another REU who was also staying at Geoffrey for their karaoke night, it was so fun! We interpreted certain songs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Overall, great weekend. I rested (maybe too much).
