This internship appeals to me because it will allow me to gain experience in multidisciplinary research, education, and technology. Technology to me is the key to our future, research aids in the expansion of one's education, and education is the most powerful tool in the world. Technology is also used broadly today as mobile devices and social media is easily accessible to the public, and can be used as a form of research in my career. As an aspiring psychiatrist, I am determined to acquire as much knowledge and experience possible to advance my professional career, so that I can make a positive impact in the world. My passion is to assist children in dealing with mental health difficulties. This program will assist me in my career training by allowing me to observe the effects of technology around the world and how technology influences the lives of individuals. The more research, education, and technology I am able to gain on a multidisciplinary scale, the better psychiatrist I will become. All of the skills I have obtained on my professional journey will aid in the advancement of my psychiatry career training and provide me with access to an informed understanding and overview of things operating at a macro level.
