I've already been very interested in the interaction between humans and computer. I started my college career through Computer Science to fill this interest and eventually came to know about Human‐Computer‐Interaction. I didn't know much about the field but I knew that I was very interested because of work most people in this field this. I got my first hand experience when I decided to a case study on the Amazon Prime Video website where I researched what most users wanted, gathered data through the form of a google doc questionnaire, and implemented those changes through design. I enjoyed that process a lot and knew that I wanted to continue with this field. My next hands on experience was during my internship at National Fuel where I was mostly working on the employee website. During the internship, I implemented, designed, and prototyped a complete overhaul of the current employee portal. During that process I learned even more about tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch. I learned even more design principles and the process of going from design to a live website. Overall the internship really defined how to work with data, design, implement, and prototype.
