Last night, I talked to my friends at home for a few hours while we played Minecraft. It was a lot of fun and I got to talk to some of my friends I haven’t talked to all summer. Later in the night, all of the girls got together and hung out and played with some makeup. It was a lot of fun and Harrison and Rodney joined in a little bit when they stopped by.
This morning, we had an HCI class about interdisciplinary research. It was really interesting for me because I am always getting asked about how psychology fits into technology. To me, it’s hard to see how psychology doesn’t fit into technology and HCI, but hearing someone else talk about the benefits of interdisciplinary research. After, our luncheon lecture speaker was Jack Miller. He went to ISU for his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD. He works at the Mayo Clinic working in VR and AR. He showed us some of his projects that he did at VRAC and they were super cool.
This afternoon, we have meetings and work time and after work, we are learning how to make baclava with Heliya!
Here is another picture, but it is an old picture of my cat, Reese, because I am missing her dearly:
