Interns will be receiving an email from their teams shortly. Pre-Arrival Information on Canvas: Before you arrive, make sure to check out the pre-arrival details available on Canvas. You’ll find essential information about program expectations, items to bring, travel, housing, meal plans, rec passes, and much more. Deeper Dives

Topics for the Deeper Dives have been defined! For two weeks you will have the opportunity to explore one of three intriguing topics that extend beyond your research group’s focus. 1. Machine Learning Machine Learning is like a wizard’s spellbook for computers. It empowers them to learn from data and make predictions or decisions without explicit programming. From self-driving cars to personalized recommendations on streaming platforms, machine learning is everywhere. We’ll unravel its mysteries, discuss algorithms, and explore real-world applications. 2. Additive Manufacturing Imagine printing a three-dimensional object layer by layer, like a delicious lasagna emerging from a futuristic oven. That’s Additive Manufacturing, also known as 3D printing.
