Virtual Reality Architectural History Library

The overarching goal for this library is to host a collection of iconic buildings developed and built for view in immersive virtual reality environments, in order to assist in learning their history and humanities through associations.

We plan to expand our domain across a wide range of structures. Here, the focus is on highlighting the structural, functional, and symbolic features of Pantheon, and the Hagia Sophia.  The successful integration of physical and conceptual properties of the Pantheon — that specialists in the field call tectonics as a kind of an activity that raises building from a shelter to architecture as an art form — aims to allow users to actively investigate other structures on their own.
